Share Bendigo and Adelaide Bank business accounts
How a business appoints a data sharing representative at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank and shares its accounts through your product.
Before you start
This guide applies to business customers who hold accounts with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. There's no online self-service route — the appointment goes through a branch or relationship manager. Note that some Bendigo and Adelaide Bank brands (such as Rural Bank and Adelaide Bank) have had exemptions from data sharing; customers of those brands may need an eligible Bendigo Bank account before anything can be shared.
Appoint a nominated representative
- Decide who in the business will be authorised to share the business's data.
- Contact the business's nearest Bendigo Bank branch or its relationship manager.
- Complete Bendigo Bank's data sharing appointment form with them.
- Wait for the bank to confirm the appointment.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank doesn't publish a standard processing time, so have the business confirm the appointment is active before attempting the consent flow.
Then share the accounts
Once the appointment is confirmed, the nominated representative starts the consent flow in your product, selects Bendigo Bank, authenticates with their own credentials, and approves sharing for the business's accounts.
If it doesn't work
- No business accounts in the consent flow — the appointment may not be processed yet, or the person authenticating isn't the appointed representative.
- Accounts are under a Rural Bank or Adelaide Bank brand — data sharing may not be available for that brand; the business should ask Bendigo Bank about eligible account options.
- Branch staff are unfamiliar with the request — asking specifically about "Consumer Data Right data sharing for business accounts" usually gets to the right team.
For anything else, the business should contact Bendigo Bank or see its open banking help pages.
