Share Suncorp Bank business accounts
How a business appoints a data sharing authority at Suncorp Bank and shares its accounts through your product.
Before you start
This guide applies to business customers who hold accounts with Suncorp Bank. Suncorp uses a form-based appointment, so the business should complete it before anyone attempts the consent flow.
Appoint a nominated representative
- Download Suncorp's Add/Delete Authority Request form from suncorpbank.com.au (search "Suncorp add delete authority form").
- Complete the form, nominating the person who will share the business's data.
- Submit the form either at the nearest Suncorp Bank branch or by email to bbaccounts@suncorp.com.au.
- Wait for Suncorp to confirm the authority has been added.
Suncorp doesn't publish a standard processing time, so allow a few business days and confirm before retrying.
Then share the accounts
Once the authority is in place, the nominated representative starts the consent flow in your product, selects Suncorp Bank, authenticates with their own credentials, and approves sharing for the business's accounts.
If it doesn't work
- No business accounts in the consent flow — the authority request may not be processed yet, or the person authenticating isn't the one nominated on the form.
- Unsure whether the form was processed — the business should contact Suncorp business banking to confirm before retrying.
- Form or email details have changed — banks update their forms periodically; if the details above don't work, check Suncorp's open banking page for the current process.
For anything else, the business should contact Suncorp Bank support or search "Suncorp Bank Consumer Data Right data sharing".
