Share ING Australia business accounts
How a business appoints a representative at ING Australia and shares its accounts through your product.
Before you start
This guide applies to business customers who hold accounts with ING Australia. ING's appointment is form-based, by email or post — there's no online route — so factor the turnaround into your onboarding. If a business's accounts don't appear in the consent flow, a missing representative appointment is the usual cause.
Appoint a nominated representative
- Download ING's Appointment of representative details form (a PDF available from ING — search "ING appointment of representative form").
- Complete the form, nominating the person who will share the business's data.
- Submit it via either channel:
- Email: customer.correspondence.au@ing.com
- Post: ING, Reply Paid 1682, Sydney NSW 2001
- Wait for ING to process the form.
ING doesn't publish a standard processing time, so allow several business days — postal submissions will take longer.
Then share the accounts
Once the form is processed, the appointed representative starts the consent flow in your product, selects ING, authenticates with their own credentials, and approves sharing for the business's accounts.
If it doesn't work
- No business accounts in the consent flow — the form may not be processed yet, or the person authenticating isn't the appointed representative.
- Unsure whether the form was processed — the business should call ING to confirm before retrying the consent flow.
- Form or contact details have changed — if the email bounces or the form can't be found, check ING's open banking page for the current version.
For anything else, the business should contact ING support or search "ING Australia Consumer Data Right data sharing".
