Share Macquarie Bank business accounts

How a business appoints a CDR nominated representative at Macquarie Bank and shares its accounts through your product.

Before you start

This guide applies to business customers who hold accounts with Macquarie Bank. Macquarie uses a form-based appointment, so build a short waiting period into your onboarding — no business accounts can be shared until the appointment is processed.

Appoint a nominated representative

  1. Download Macquarie's CDR Nominated Representative Authority form (search "Macquarie CDR nominated representative form" or start from Macquarie's open banking page at macquarie.com.au).
  2. Complete the form, nominating the person who will share the business's data.
  3. Email the completed form to transact@macquarie.com.

Macquarie advises that appointment requests are completed within 5 business days.

Then share the accounts

Once Macquarie confirms the appointment, the nominated representative starts the consent flow in your product, selects Macquarie Bank, authenticates with their own credentials, and approves sharing for the business's accounts.

If it doesn't work

  • No business accounts in the consent flow — the appointment may still be in Macquarie's 5-business-day processing window, or the person authenticating isn't the nominated representative.
  • Unsure whether the form was processed — the business should follow up with Macquarie before retrying the consent flow.
  • Form details have changed — Macquarie occasionally updates its forms and submission channels; if the email bounces or the form can't be found, check Macquarie's open banking page for the current version.

For anything else, the business should contact Macquarie Bank support via macquarie.com.au.
