Share Bank of Queensland (BOQ) business accounts

How a business appoints a data sharing representative at Bank of Queensland and shares its accounts through your product.

Before you start

This guide applies to business customers who hold accounts with Bank of Queensland (BOQ). BOQ uses a paper-based appointment for business entities — there's no online or in-app route — so the form needs to be lodged before anyone attempts the consent flow.

Appoint a nominated representative

  1. Download BOQ's Data Sharing Form for Business Entities from boq.com.au (search "BOQ data sharing form for business entities").
  2. Complete the form, nominating the person who will share the business's data.
  3. Return the completed form to the business's nearest BOQ branch or its Business Banker.
  4. Wait for BOQ to confirm the appointment.

BOQ doesn't publish a standard processing time, so allow several business days and confirm with BOQ before retrying.

Then share the accounts

Once the appointment is processed, the nominated representative starts the consent flow in your product, selects BOQ, authenticates with their own credentials, and approves sharing for the business's accounts.

If it doesn't work

  • No business accounts in the consent flow — the form may not be processed yet, or the person authenticating isn't the nominated representative.
  • Unsure whether the form was processed — the business's Business Banker is usually the fastest route to confirmation.
  • The form can't be found — BOQ updates its forms periodically; check BOQ's open banking page for the current version.

For anything else, the business should contact BOQ support or search "BOQ Consumer Data Right data sharing".
